Lucy McLaren is the June winner of the Staff Recognition awards.
Lucy was nominated because the person that voted for her felt that Lucy had respected her patients individual concerns (she listened). That she was focused and engaged in a relationship with the patient but utilising her knowledge of systems and processes within the DHB to provide the best outcome and a plan going forward. She was innovative is resourcing appropriate information which she explained the reasoning of in a way my patient understood.
