5th July strike notice is withdrawn

The 5th July strike notice has been withdrawn while the NZNO negotiation team recommends the revised DHB offer to its members after Friday's facilitation.

The strike notice for Thursday 5 July has been withdrawn to allow NZNO members time to consider the revised offer and for the online voting process to be initiated.

The online voting process will run from Tuesday 3 July to Monday 9 July.

To comply with the Code of Good Faith for the Public Health Sector, Wairarapa DHB's life preserving services and contingency planning will continue in preparation for the strike action on Thursday 12 July, for which a strike notice remains in force.

The Wairarapa DHB management team wishes to thank all its staff for the considerable commitment and effort made during its preparation for the strike action that was planned for 5 July.
