Fresh flowers causing hayfever in hospital

With the onset of spring and all the lovely fresh flowers about, our wards are looking bright and beautiful but.... the hayfever they are causing is not so pretty!

Staff and patients are feeling the effects with running noses, sneezes and watery eyes, which can make life unpleasant.
If you are bringing flowers to patients, please try and limit bouquets to non-allergen blooms and avoid the usual, high-pollen suspects like lilies, sunflowers and jasmine.
