Hear from Clive Aspin, and others, who have made their advance care plan

Clive wants to make sure he is with his loved ones at the end of his life and that it is as pain-free as possible. With family in different countries, it was important to document his future health care wishes.

Clive Aspin (Ngāti Maru) brings a takatāpui perspective to the campaign with his partner of 20 years, Terry. He works with the Health Quality & Safety Commission in the mortality review committee team. He has been a strong advocate for communities and people affected by HIV through his public health research over many years.

When Clive and Terry returned home after working overseas for many years they sat down and discussed their advance care plans. With families in different countries it made sense to have a plan. Watch their story HERE.
