Wairarapa Hospital’s radiography staff will strike again next week

We have made arrangements to ensure the hospital can continue to provide the best possible care for the Wairarapa community.

Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) throughout the country will strike from 0700 Monday until 0700 on Tuesday, and again from 0700 Wednesday until 0700 Thursday next week (14^th and 16^th October).

A small number of imaging staff will be working to meet urgent need during the strike periods. X-rays for acute emergency and ward inpatients and acute GP referrals will be available.

Some appointments and surgeries have had to be rescheduled, and we do apologise for the inconvenience.

We have a great team of staff working very hard to minimise any impact on our Wairarapa patients while we await a resolution.
