Ngarita joined the DHB in 1994 as an enquiries clerk before she moved in 1996 to work as a Service Coordinator for Home Support Services. In 2001 she became the Team Leader managing a very large team of support workers and co-ordination staff, providing assistance to over 200 clients in their homes.
Since 2007, Ngarita has been an integral part of the ACC team and in recent times has had primary responsibility for elective surgery and non-acute rehab.
Ngarita has been a hard-working member of the finance team, dealing with ACC and supporting staff throughout the hospital on ACC issues. Her tremendous knowledge of all things ACC will be greatly missed.
Ngarita was farewelled with a morning tea in the CSSB block this morning.
