We recognise the role of many partners in creating a society that supports the independence and participation of people with disabilities.

Most access to publicly funded disability support services is through our Needs Assessment and Service Coordination agency, FOCUS.

In Wairarapa Hospital, the DHB has recently launched a 'Talk to me' flipchart to support people with disabilities, which informs others how best they can help the disabled person while they are in hospital.
