Well Wairarapa—better health for all
Wairarapa ora—hauora pai mo te katoa
Wairarapa DHB is known for the innovative ways it works to improve the health
of its population. Teamwork, innovation, community involvement, and inter-agency
collaboration are all key factors of our success, as is our willingness to work
in partnership with our neighbouring DHBs.
We welcome your interest in finding out
more about health in our region, and possibly coming to join our team.
Health is constantly changing as
technologies emerge, and our understanding of the determinants of health in our
region improves. It is the responsibility of the District
Health Board to take the lead in planning, funding and providing public health
services for our population, regardless of where their services are provided.
