Self-help

The government has introduced a free self-help therapy tool called SPARX.

This is an online fantasy role-playing game that allows the player to learn techniques for coping with depression, anxiety and other life problems.

SPARX is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and available free to New Zealand residents.
