Gabe has a wealth of experience in health systems, processes, equipment and dealing with challenging incidents and emergency response. He knows and understands our community well.
Gabe has started in his new role and is excited to help ensure the DHB is as resilient as possible. There is valuable cross over in the two roles – no one quite knows the hospital inside out like the Orderlies. Gabe's calm and professional demeanour from many years of experience dealing with emergency situations will be an asset when wearing his 'new hat.'
When he isn't working with us, Gabe is usually underwater as a member of the Wairarapa underwater club.
