Radiography staff on strike next week

A series of radiographer strikes will take place next week in a third round of industrial action affecting the country.
The strikes include both full and partial withdrawal of labour and will take place from Tuesday 29th October to Monday 4th November.

We have made arrangements to ensure Wairarapa Hospital can continue to provide the best possible care for the Wairarapa community.

A small number of imaging staff will be working to meet urgent need during the strike periods. X-rays for acute emergency and ward inpatients and acute GP referrals will be available.

Some appointments and surgeries have had to be rescheduled, and we do apologise for the inconvenience.

We have a great team of staff working very hard to minimise any impact on our Wairarapa patients while we await a resolution.
